“Because you stood watch, our nation breathes the air of freedom.”

The freedom we enjoy every day is not something that came easily—it was earned through the vigilance, sacrifice, and commitment of the men and women who stood guard to protect it. Every moment they spent on duty, every challenge they overcame, allowed us to continue living in a nation where liberty thrives. Their watchful presence has granted us the freedom we hold dear, and for that, we owe them a debt of gratitude.

As part of our Countdown to Veterans Day, we honor these guardians of freedom. Let us take time to remember that the peace we live in was preserved by their courage and dedication. They stood in the face of adversity so we could experience the simple joys of life in a free nation.

The Journey Home Project is committed to helping veterans as they return to civilian life, facing challenges and struggles that too often go unnoticed. The journey home can be difficult, but with our support, it can be made a little easier.

In the spirit of this Countdown to Veterans Day, please consider supporting our veterans by donating to The Journey Home Project or to a veteran charity close to your heart. Their service allows us to breathe the air of freedom—now it’s time to show them our appreciation. Thank you.
