“For the veteran, thank you for bravely doing what you’re called to do so we can safely do what we’re free to do.”

Every freedom we enjoy has been safeguarded by the brave men and women of our armed forces. Their courage allows us to live freely, and their sacrifices protect the liberties we often take for granted. As we continue our countdown to Veterans Day, take a moment to thank a veteran for their service—because of their bravery, we can enjoy the freedoms that shape our daily lives.

As part of the Countdown to Veterans Day, The Journey Home Project is raising awareness of the challenges veterans face as they return to civilian life. Every day, an estimated 22 veterans tragically take their own lives—likely even more—due to the immense burdens they carry. Join us in sharing their stories and supporting The Journey Home Project or your favorite veteran charity. Your contributions can make a difference for those who have sacrificed so much.
