Last weekend, the Memories of Honor—Honor The Fallen 5K & Memorial Mile brought together a community dedicated to honoring the sacrifices of our military heroes. It was a heartfelt event where runners, families, and supporters gathered to pay tribute to those who have served and those we have lost.
One of the most touching moments of the weekend was the presentation of the Sgt. Norberto Roman Service Award. This year, the award was bestowed upon David Corlew for his unwavering and selfless contributions to our military, veteran, and surviving family communities. David’s generosity knows no bounds, and he continues to give without thinking of himself, embodying the spirit of service and sacrifice that Sgt. Norberto Roman stood for.
David’s dedication to these communities is truly inspiring, and his efforts have made a profound impact on countless lives. Whether through direct support, fundraising, or simply being a pillar of strength and compassion, David’s work has not gone unnoticed. Congratulations, David! We are certain that Norberto would be proud.
